Gharb-Chrarda-Béni Hssen ((アラビア語:الغرب شراردة بني حسين)) is one of the sixteen old administrative regions of Morocco. It is situated in north-western Morocco, covers an area of 8805 km² and has a population of 1,904,112 (2014 census).〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Recensement général de la population et de l'habitat de 2004 )〕 The capital is Kenitra. The region consisted of the following provinces: * Kénitra Province * Sidi Kacem Province * Sidi Slimane Province The region lacks economic and geographic unity. In particular, while it resembles and is closely connected with the Loukos region which is administrated by the Tanger-Tétouan region, the Gharb is ruled from Kenitra with which it has little connections. Kenitra itself is integrated in the urban corridor that extends southward through Rabat and Casablanca to El Jadida. ==Antiquity== In ancient times this region was part of Mauretania Tingitana, which was ruled in early times by the Phoenicians and later by the Mauretanians and Romans. Major settlements from these eras were located at Volubilis〔C. Michael Hogan. 2007〕 and at Chellah. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Gharb-Chrarda-Béni Hssen」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
